It did get very graphic near the end, so if that makes you uncomfortable, don't read this book. However, still a great read. Dark, suspenseful, emotional, a thriller. There aren't really chapters, just dates that go back and forth in time, which was interesting and effective. Definitely not an easy or happy read, but good. Also a fascinating glimpse into the mental health issues that can accompany such traumatic experiences.
