🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW🎧

🎸synopsis:
It's been 3 years since the devastating accident... 3 years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever. Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in NYC by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

🎸thoughts:
I'm so glad I dove into this sequel pretty quickly after finishing If I Stay. It was so nice getting Adam's perspective and I'm glad the author chose that direction. The pacing, writing, characters, and story all felt so genuine. As a parallel to the first audiobook with Mia's Cello instrumental, they added in guitar riffs for Adam. Loved that. Gayle Forman is a fantastic author and I will be reading more from her.
