"What are you going to tell them?" Gabrielle asked.
'Over the years, I've learned one thing over and over....' He put a hand in her shoulder and smiled. " There's just no subtitute for the truth."
It was a jammed packed Sci Fi Thriller book.
I am amazed how brave and smart Rachel Sexton, Michael Tolland and Corky Marlinson was. How honest President Zachary Herney. How smart and as the same time protective skills of Marjorie Tench ( I am stunned by her logical stuffs). How did Gabrielle did her research and escape strategies as well as how Yolanda do pacified a conflict on someone's mind. So long Xavia, you've done a great job.
I loved how Brown shuffled its character in the story. Action scene are so mind-blowing. Brown never failed to do his homework. He put a lot of research and coat those fact with fiction( should I say mixed with reality). You will end up wondering who is the person responsible for all these deception. I honestly crack some clues on the lines of the story since Brown's book are more on twist. It is truly visible on each phrase that it is written by Dan Brown. Mysterious, yet clues are everywhere. All you have to do is to align the dots. I can prove that in these story that blood is not thicker than water.
I definitely agree that power corrupts our mind. To achieve something makes us think inevitable. I learned that too much power can make us feel selfish and lead us to nowhere. Things will just be in vain and everything will pummeled back with a sting of disappoinment and discouragement.
Overall, it was an awesome experience reading this book. Giving it a rating of 4.2 /5 cause I believe that there are some things that need to be polished. Yes aI am amazed by research but somehow too much information will make the readers confused and end up with a question mark.
Recommended for those who is searching for a sci fi thriller book.
