Not gonna lie, this was a very hard read for its grotesque nature— but it was incredibly worth it. I was taken aback by how graphic and disturbing this novel was, however, I found it to be very compelling and thought the story was well-crafted. I’ve never read anything quite like this before, and only Ottessa could make me enjoy something so gross and dark.
Graphic: Adult/minor relationship, Animal death, Death, Gore, Misogyny, Pedophilia, Rape, Self harm, Sexual violence, Violence, Cannibalism, and Murder
