Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day by Winifred Watson
4.0
A 1930s romantic comedy in a Wodehousian vein, although not as convoluted and implausible. (Which is not too say really plausible.) Light and fun with. Minus one star for the common issues with books of this era, namely several brief but still objectionable racist and sexist remarks.
