I am late to this one. I absolutely loved it! It is a slow burn murder mystery. Slow burn with magic realism, brutal dark academia... It was amazing. Leigh Bardugo as absolutely soared to the top of my favorite authors with this one.
Alex Stern has always been able to see the "quiet ones". People who are dead, and no one else can see. Not being able to explain this to others has plagued her life.
