Another wild ride! This one was different in all the right ways so that it can stand on its own in the series while staying within the same world.
I really liked Lark and Lachlan together and separately. They had a sweet slow burn. It was beautiful to see their relationship grow throughout.
Definitely was still dark but in more emotional themes at times than the first book.
I am a little confused as I get ready for book 3 at where things might be going but I’m excited to finish off the series!
