challenging medium-paced

This book was a really interesting and challenging read. It did a great job of covering a range of interesting stories about specific and unusual murder court cases.
I thought it occasionally got a little slow but since the stories were never too long it was always short lived.
It really challenged how I view the British legal system in a way akin to reading the secret barrister- although quite a bit less depressingly. It goes to show how fluid and uncertain the law can be.
