Reading this gave me such a bittersweet feeling—the interaction between Dawson and Bethany is so cute and sweet(I think I prefer them more than Daemon+Katy) but at the same time I can’t help but feel sad because we all know what’s going to happen to them:,(

And God, I hate the old Daemon haha. Yes, this novella did give more insight into Daemon’s hostility towards Katy. But for me, it’s not a good excuse to be a total jerk towards her. Though it’s amusing to see Daemon doing exactly what he swore he wouldn’t allow to ever happened—falling for a human.
