The Excalibur Curse by Kiersten White

4.0

A solid ending to this series, this book celebrates the magic of being a girl, the power of humanity, and discovery of who you are. It wrapped up all the relationships and future of Camelot well, while effectively creating a story of the Arthurian legend we haven’t seen before, heavily resting on the stories of the women within it, and the cost of magic.

One of the quotes that stuck out to me was “Just because violence shaped you, doesn’t make your existence an act of violence.” There were great nuggets of wisdom throughout the story, and great humor by the new character, Fina, and it was generally a fun story. I liked the series overall and it was a good adventure and payoff.
