So just like the first one, there are tons of twists, and the ending was my favorite part. I would never guess it. Pip and Ravi's romance is still in the background simmering. (only fluff) I like the build-up to the court case. I wish we got Ravi's POV. I hope in the next book, she will move and go to college as her mom mentioned, just for a change of scenery but continue her podcast.
Moderate: Car accident, Stalking, Murder, Violence, Injury/Injury detail, Fire/Fire injury, Confinement, Gun violence, Drug use, and Emotional abuse
Minor: Vomit, Child abuse, Child death, Cancer, Sexual harassment, Rape, and Kidnapping
The big ones are from the last book. The court case for it is going on while pip looks at the new case. There's one scene towards the end of this book which is where the book gets the most violent with a gun and sets the place on fire.
