A quick easy read. I enjoy historical fiction and love the Victorian era, so was intrigued by the description. I struggled to understand Harriet’s motivations at times, despite reading her diary entries, however I think that could be intentional

due to her not being entirely truthful at all times

but this did keep me interested and guessing until the end.
