I was in the mood for a light romance and I am a huge fan of the author’s other contemporary romance, Wait for You. Frigid definitely didn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed it and it suited my mood perfectly. Honestly, there were snow flurries the other day and I just wanted to cozy up with a contemporary romance and this cover jumped out at me. It was perfect!

The conflict was interesting because Sydney and Kyler were friends and both of them wanted more and thought the other didn’t for completely different reasons. Sydney and Kyler found themselves snowed in at a ski resort, which was great because it forced the two of them together. I also enjoyed the mysterious aspect of the novel because someone was obviously sabotaging the cabin during the storm.

Frigid was a light, steamy read and I definitely recommend it to fans of the author’s other contemporary novels. I was completely in the mood for a book like this and I devoured it in no time. I wish I would have read it sooner, but I think the colder weather made me appreciate the whole snowed-in plot scenario a bit more.
