Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots
5.0
Here for villains and henches teaming up to ruin the personal and public lives of the so-called heroes. Anna's brain is built different, she has a natural ability to be a villain and she has the data to support it! Amazing! At every turn we meet someone of color, someone on the lgbt+ spectrum, someone with disabilities and I appreciated it so fucking much. I would have like some gay romance in the MC's life... but jokes I loved this book so much.
It was the right amount of fun and angst and kickassery. We have tragedy and awesome life-changing events and we get a team that feels like a family (who said villains don't work well in teams?) but then we also have families torn apart because they don't want to be associated with the bad guys :/ anyways still a fun fun read.
