Izzy England’s dad has just been released from jail, he’s served 18 years for the murder of her mother. Now he wants to talk, defend himself and prove his innocence, but can he be trusted?

I couldn’t have predicted the ending of this one which is always a good sign with a thriller! There was a lot of depth within the characters and the plot. I enjoyed the development throughout with the slow retelling of the crime intertwined with their current lives. The language was so important and significant in this book, which provides an interesting layer to the narrative.
