The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune

5.0

This is the loveliest book about belonging and chosen families and finding oneself. The writing is delightful (it reminds me a bit of Fredrik Backman and Rainbow Rowell) and the characters are endearing. The lessons occasionally turn into lectures, but they are enjoyable lectures nonetheless. It’s a whimsical ride that definitely lives up to the hype.
