Continuing to enjoy my introduction to Inspector Gamache's world, though I imagine this won't end up being one of my favorites. I find some of the main recurring characters profoundly unlikable, even reprehensible in the views they express, which sours me a bit. Still, I enjoy unraveling the mystery (and am usually pretty slow to figure it out, so I don't get bored). I am getting quite drawn in by the plot line that connects the books together and need to know what's next for Armand Gamache!
Graphic: Child abuse, Emotional abuse, and Body shaming
Moderate: Murder
