Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater

4.0

Honestly I was a little hesitant to follow Ronan Lynch further into his dream world. While he's easily a fave character from The Raven Boys, I wasn't sure I'd like him as much as the main character. Luckily, Stiefvater's character crafting capabilities did not disappoint and I was hooked on spending time with Ronan again in no time.

The only hesitancy I have with this book was that it felt like I was missing something sometimes. Like there was something I should have known off and on throughout and it wasn't until later that I understood what I'd missed. Just a general feeling of slight gaps in either my own understanding of the story or in the development of the story itself.

It didn't stop me from loving this book though. Hennesey and her girls...brilliant. The crafting of the Zeds vs the Moderators, and the introduction of the Visionaries...love. I look forward to the rest of this series!
