first of all they used the phrase "walking, talking sushi" to describe an Asian person. aside from that the writing was so disjointed it was hard to even follow at times, especially in the first couple issues. a couple side characters looked really similar to main ones so I got confused a couple times and that definitely took away from the cohesiveness again. I definitely prefer the ones by Karl Kesel
