Definitely a book to discuss with others if you want to suffer through the read to be able to discuss it. None of the characters are offered in good light. They are all seriously flawed and self-absorbed. I found it hard to enjoy reading this book because there wasn't any one character I really liked or cared about. I would not recommend this book to my Book Group because I wouldn't want to subject them such a tedious read about a depressing lot of people.
