They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

5.0

Nothing but praise for this book! The whole concept is beautiful and something so special (it reminded me of the movie Soul but it was much more meaningful). We see Mateo and Rufus wanting to live their life to the fullest, literally. They are trying to cherish every last moment, and there are so many quotes that I loved.

Here’s one of my favourites:

“There are so many freak accidents that can happen at any point. Every new minute we’re alive is a miracle.” (Silvera,182)

Anyways this book was so painful (in the best way possible). I absolutely loved Mateo and Rufus’s dynamic, and I loved all the risks they got each other to take. Now you should go read the book!
