Here are I’m initial thoughts. Is this a perfectly written book? No it’s not. But this book gave me that feeling I look for when reading a 5⭐️ book. Now this book is a 4 ⭐️⭐️ let’s talk about it.
There really isn’t a lot of world building, but I was okay with that because this is not a high fantasy book-I would say this is a good intro into fantasy. It made sense for the world to be what it is because they aren’t like traveling across the universe or anything wild. All happens within one space. Easy to understand. If you're wanting a more intricate world, I wouldn't pick this book up.
Does there need to be more character development? Yes. Especially in Jax and Adena(oh adena
