Proud card-carrying member of the Donut Holes, reporting for duty.

Book 3 is chaotic, weirdly emotional, occasionally confusing, and, unsurprisingly, an absolute blast. The level setup in this one took me a minute to wrap my head around (honestly? I gave up trying and just let it happen), but once I stopped overthinking it, I was all in.

Carl and Donut continue to be the chaotic duo we know and Love, and I love how this series balances absurd humor with real stakes and unexpectedly heartfelt moments. Every book deepens the world in ways I didn’t expect, and this one hit me with more lore, more horror, and even more “WTF just happened?” moments.

If you’re even thinking about starting this series, do it. Don’t ask questions. Just pack a snack and get into it.
