It was fine but nothing special. The “lie” seemed really inconsequential to me, but at least the author had the other characters state that so maybe it was meant to be. But i agree with other reviews…why was her time in the army and her aversion to violence a major character point but then just came to nothing?  Also her brief panic attack after being felt up at the bar?  I was sure she must have experienced something traumatic in the army but nope. I liked all the characters, main and supporting, but not sure i’ll read more of the series.
