Oh mann, why must Scott Snyder keep doing that thing to my heart? This was such a perfect Batman story, and it struck such a good balance between its characters and it's action. All the flashbacks and daydreams were heart breaking and greatly humanised the characters, and I loved the intricate way Snyder wove in major plot points into issues way earlier than they arose. As always, the art was beautiful and it had some really cute visual jokes along the way.
4.5/5 stars.
Also, Bruce's new haircut! 10/10
