Did not finish book.
DNF at 41%. This book was incredibly boring. The heroine was a wet blanket with major daddy issues (their texting exchange was so cringey!) The hero was bland and clearly needed to retire. I couldn’t even get to the point in this book where SOMETHING sexual happened between the two characters.
The writing itself is decent. But it’s way too long and not the good kind of slow burn that keeps you pining. I noticed the author liked to add in unnecessary details that seemed so obvious to the scene. Too much extra jargon!
