A Taste of Ink
by Daniel May
I’m reserving judgment for the moment because after this entry I’m intrigued but frustrated. I would classify this strongly as erotica. There is kink exploration and cheating, which are all disclosed pretty much from the gate so you can proceed with caution. I’m interested to see if the author can make this the romance it’s supposed to be because I can really only see that happening one way. It makes me desperate to look ahead, which I also refuse to do. At this point, I’m confused by Zee, annoyed by Trinket, and mostly amused and intrigued by Mini. The author’s very spare writing style isn’t the most appealing to me personally. It’s more of a tell you what happens, and beyond that I wish there were just more details that could clue me in to anyone’s motivations, which is hard with 3rd person POV. Still, I’m clearly sticking around because I’m invested! ***Review is for new edition of combined volumes.
