A bit uncomplicated and the reader knows about

Parker's knowledge of their relationship so far before the characters that it

undermined a bit of the suspense at the end, but I liked that we still got to see the characters grapple with an issue we didn't necessarily think would be a problem. And there was some good uncertainty. I really liked the way the book felt like growth for both characters without ever having a big catalyzing falling out moment, a more positive take on the classic romance genre tropes that I thought was really interesting and neat.
