The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

Considering the rating, I think this one might have gotten me outta my reading slump.

It's a quick read, with witty elements and funny moments. The reason why it's not a solid 4, is because of the miscommunication, the idea of fate/faith being forced throughout the story, and Olive trying so hard to be "different than everyone else." As a twin, she's the "unlucky one" and her sister the "lucky go-getter." And it's reiterated time and time again that I never once felt bad for Olive. Just sad for her.

The miscommunication trope will never not frustrate me, hence my very distaste for it. The 3rd act of the story had me almost throwing my Kindle across the room. Luckily, it didn't last too long.
