Picked this up with the recommendation of a good female rage read. It was a decent, quick read even though it was longer than it needed to be.
Pros:
-good rep of 40ish women's struggles
-very feminist, really highlights the struggles if all women of different classes with being overlooked, looked down upon, mistreated, and stereotyped
-describes the pent up rage and frustration of being treated as less than
Cons:
-great idea for a story but predictable plot. Maybe it's just me, but I was able to guess who all the bad guys were the moment they were introduced. None if the plot twists were a surprise. Dialogue was flat.
-the main characters had some awesome powers that could have enhanced the plot/action but mostly floppedI wish they had used them to get their revenge! Especially Jo who was literally filled fire and strength to violently kill these predators. The guys died but in mostly boring ways, not worth the lead up to a quick death
