Bringing Up Bébé: One American Mother Discovers the Wisdom of French Parenting by Pamela Druckerman

4.0

Although I think the French parenting method described in this book is maybe a bit much in some areas (6 might be a little young for sleepaway camp), I was really encouraged by the common sense in this book. I liked the comparisons between common problems that American parents have and the solutions provided by the French. Might have been a little romanticized, but I love the air of “don’t forget who you are when you become a mom” and the ideas about strong boundaries but a lot of freedom within those boundaries.
