The Lincoln Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill America's 16th President—And Why It Failed by Brad Meltzer, Josh Mensch
3.0
The good - great research and a lot of unknown or little known history. I loved learning more about Lincoln as an adult with a successful law practice prior to his presidency. I also didn't know he had a close relationship with his stepmother.
The bad - it felt like a grade school book in that every single time a character was mentioned, they repeated who they were and how they were involved. There were a few subsequent chapters talking about the same person, and each time, her role and connection were repeated. In subsequent chapters! I mean, my memory isn't great, but it can hold up from one chapter to the next.
Overall, I'll give it 3.5 stars.
