I really liked the first half of this book and learning about Finnish mythology. But we don't meet death until 50% and they barely talk until 60%. The romance is like an after thought which would be fine but it was marketed pretty heavy on the romance and spice. I probably won't read the next book, but still highly recommend Black Sunshine, the Dark Eyes series by Karina Halle.
