How to Be Less Stupid About Race: On Racism, White Supremacy, and the Racial Divide
by Crystal Marie Fleming
There are quite a few anti-racist books out there that are worth reading, but I recommend this one for the non-nonsense, intersectional feminist approach that blends honesty with dry wit. It’s both an easy read, because Ms.Fleming is a skilled writer, and a touch read, because it’s clear we have so much work to do. If you are just dipping your toe into anti-racism, you may want to read the foot notes or start with a more basic book. I appreciate the practical advice on tackling the problem of white supremacy along with the subtle encouragement to just do more.
