A Baby of Her Own by Brenda Novak

3.0

What I liked: I read this because I was in the mood for something light and fluffy and it delivered. There was few heart wrenching moments and more likely than not I became aggravated with the characters indecision about details.

What I didn't like: the plot was, basically, all over the place. Irrelevant details were placed in strange places- Rebecca's hidden feelings for the local ranchworker Josh to be named or even her marriage to a man in Kentucky. The whole problem of Conner and his family was never fully resolved. I also had a hard time seeing the connection between Delaney and Conner as anything other than anger. Or lust at most. Love was a bit of a stretch for me.
