Leave Me Behind
by K.M. Moronova
This book was heavy, dramatic, and so emotionally intense. It doesn’t shy away from dark themes—there are scenes that are deeply raw, even hard to read at times—to show just how much pain the main character was carrying. His voice was tortured, beautifully broken, and the way the story allowed space for healing without rushing it made the payoff so satisfying.
It’s not your typical romance—You want them to believe they deserves happiness, even when he doesn’t think he does.
The writing was powerful and gripping. I found myself holding my breath during some scenes, especially the more vulnerable moments when he let himself feel again.
I really liked the ending ♡︎
