I had many things to say about the Woman in Black. First off that it's a fantastic fast paced dip into victorian horror and the ghost stories of that era (the opening set during Christmas was a nice homage to the genre). It's almost complete fan service to that era of horror writing. With one chapter even being titled 'Whistoe and I'll come to you'. A horror story written in the time period the book is set. For me the book wrapped up far too quickly and didn't dive into the questions asked early on. In my opinion I much prefer the soft rewrite of this story in the play/theatre version, 2nd to that I enjoyed the movie with Daniel Radcliffe much more, with certain plot points added that improved the story of the book (I'm sorry to say. My opinion). Still, if you're looking for a spooky outing that's not too long and want to experience the odd creepy sensation. Visit the woman in black (at your own peril.....ooooooooohhhhh my attempt at a ghost noise. Soz)
