Girls Out Late by Jacqueline Wilson
3.5
funny tense fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

The third book in Jacqueline Wilson's Girls series. The book explores familiar teenage themes of friendship, love and navigating parental restrictions. As the title suggests the book touches upon mature themes, however the consequences are not thoroughly explored which is concerning. Although nostalgic, repetition and the the rushed ending makes it an average read in comparison to others in the series.
