such a good follow-up. was worried that the story couldn't support sequels, but it was able to keep developing, again without feeling forced. a very organic story development, where actions and reactions seemed in keeping with the characters created. also, all-hail the anit-love-trinagle! so refreshing to read a ya book without that plot element (though i was worried it would appear in this book). the heroine is refreshingly decisive - she knows what she wants and if she doesn't, it's because she doesn't understand the social context of an action or situation. and when that's the case, she asks (unbelievable, i know) and then makes an informed decision.
