Enjoyed It

This is the most Jimmy Buffett book if I've ever read one. Had I not known Jimmy wrote it, I would've thought it was a book he would've like to have written.

If you're a fan of Jimmy's music, then this book will honestly read like a long-winded Jimmy Buffett song. It has everything you'd expect: Adventure, Cheeseburgers, Island Life, Running from the law, a diverse and cooky cast of characters,  horse on a boat, lighthouses, drinking, sun, love, etc.

Is this is most amazing book written? No. Is this going to be my favorite of the year? No. Was it a wild ride that kept me entertained the whole time wanting to know where Tully's life was going to take him next? Absolutely! It was such a fun read and it was about absolutely noting and absolutely everything at the same time. It's an action-adventure book if I've ever read one and I liked it a lot.

James Fouhey narrated it and, honestly, that's how I found the book on Libby. James' voice always does something to me and I love it so much, so I'll randomly search his name and find something to listen to. I've discovered so many wonderful books that I've loved that were outside my normal reads because of him.
