(Sigh) I really enjoyed this book. It was clever and interesting and a good concept for a book, but it had this one scene. The bad evil soldiers had escaped and had attacked the girl, and though it made it clear the dragon showed up before she could get gang raped her clothes were in shreds. And she yelled don’t touch me. But then the dragon has her look in his eyes and she was all the sudden ok because “it feels like it happened so long ago.” WTF?!!! I get that this book was probably written a long time ago but TIME DOESN’T HEAL TRAMA!!!!!! I don’t feel like this book is a one star book because I don’t feel destroyed, I honestly just feel mad.
