Berserk Deluxe Volume 1 by Kentaro Miura

Reread and still as good as the first time. Everything about the book is amazing. The world draws you in both with Kentaro Miura's amazing illustrations and the amazing world that he's created. It's grim and it's dark but there is still so much heart.

+ Guts and Puck are both amazing and complex characters.
+ Amazing illustrations.
+ Like many mangas and animes characters develop incredibly efficiently. Specifically Theresia in this story who only appears briefly but has multiple amazing character developments.
- Some expositional dialogue can be a little bit clunky at times.
