I liked the story okay and I really like the writer's style, but this series has just gone on too long for me. I can enjoy really long series, like Martin's Song of Ice and Fire, but the story has to be extremely gripping for me. This series was really fantastic in the beginning, but it wandered too far away from what I loved most about it.
