Really good book to learn about the US- vs China-style capitalism. Extremely original reading of the communist phase of history. Either very original or else this is the first time I have come across such a an original and insightful reading. It explains in very clear terms what it did to un(der)developed societies in terms of equalising socially and economically their members. As a socialist and tireless optimist, I choose to believe in his more optimistic predictions for the future of capitalist democracies.
