I wanted to hate this book. I really did. Designated, ugly, fat friend. Really? But because it has been turned into a movie, and I love Robbie Amell, here I am. The first half was not the greatest. It was exactly as expected, a typical teen romance book. Not great. The second half was much better. Yes, it still had the teen romance love triangle, but it also had a message. That everyone on this planet is struggling with something. No one is perfect. And that stuck with me. That made it more than just a teenage romance book to me.
