I really liked this book. I loved the simplicity of the writing and storyline and how the book centers around the lives and relationships of Marianne and Connell. I like thoughts about mental health this book brought up. I only wish that Marianne had the opportunity in this book to work through her abuse as an individual more rather then relying so heavily on Connell. I think it would have been nice to see her become more self confident without having to rely on another man.
