I finished this book in two days. I was tempted to finish it in one day, but I know I’d have no time to sleep but bear the despair, so I didn’t. (it was 2 in the morning)
my heart sank for Achilles and Patroclus. so much that I have no tears left to shed. their bond is beyond human power & capability, the years they have spent together are more precious and valuable than a one man soul. I love them. I love how their characters are portrayed. they are powerful because they are humans. mortals. the author’s writing style is easy to read. I left so many notes and I labeled each of them differently. Patroclus describing Achilles’ beauty, Achilles’ ways to protect Patroclus, affections to each other & grief.
I wish them well. that in another universe they live well. together.
