This relationship is so so so unhealthy and the MCs are both dumb (as in, unable to make smart decisions). Gage has a martyr complex (I will suffer for love, because my lover’s PhD matters more than my child’s health) and I don’t get why the whole world blames Aaron (I don’t particularly like him, but Gage made a looooot of stupid decisions, and nobody is talking about how he entered an unhealthy relationship with a teenager and basically brainwashed him - nooooooooo, their love is beautiful and the should stay together forever).
Did I mention that this relationship is seriously unhealthy????!
