A dark and suspenseful whodunit with a compelling plot that made the book hard to put down.
The a main character, Libby, was easy to dislike but wonderfully complex and engaging to follow.
The writing style was a perfect balance of descriptive without slowing the story down and had a wonderful way of capturing each character's voice as the POV alternated. The mystery itself was very well paced, revealed chapter by chapter in a way that reminded me of classic mystery serials. That said, I enjoyed the build up to the ending more than the ending itself. Still, a very enjoyable, if twisted, read.
The book gets graphic and deals with some disturbing subject matters; I recommend checking the content warnings.
