I loved this book so much. It is so so strange. Truly unlike anything I've ever read. It made me cry of heartbreak and hope. I can't believe it is a novel and not a memoir. The characters are painfully real and made me feel so much. This book is about love above all else. Queer love. Unrequited love. Love lost. Love held on to. So much was captured here in such a particular way.
